REDISCOVERING AND RECONNECTING WITH FAMILY HISTORY
The connection between the photograph as a stored and rarely examined artefact interests me. Digital photography pervades and has resulted in, for the most part, the loss of connection with printed photographs and memories. My exhibit explores the experience of rediscovering objects linked to my family history, and invites the viewer to handle and look through the images as a means of reconnecting with lost memories rekindled by photographs of their own families.
